New Salamis went into this weeks first of two matches vs Belstone needing 3 points to guarantee 2nd Place in the League. The game started and ended with two knee injuries that look like they ended both players seasons.

Firstly it the very first minutes the Belstone keeper fell awkwardly and in some pain and had to be carried off. The second player was in the last minute and was influential Harrison Georgiou who went down with knee ligament damage.

In between the injuries Salamina had a frustrating first half with the Belstone stand in keeper producing a great display, keeping the score at 0-0 at half time. the second half was slightly different our shots finally hit the back of the net.

George Lutaaya opened the scoring round g the keeper for 1-0. Deniz Mehmet made it 2-0 with a great goal. Richard Georgiou back briefly after Injury as he runs the London Marathon this weekend, scored from the penalty spot for 3-0, before he made it 4-0 rounding the keeper.

This Saturday Salamina travel to Belstone in the Semi Final of the League Cup.
